About First Person Boxing
A free first person boxing game that runs in your browser.
First Person Boxing is made by a small independent team that likes boxing games and quick browser games. We built it so anyone can step into the ring from behind their own gloves without installing an app, creating an account or owning a VR headset. The game is free and supported by ads on the site pages. If you find a bug, have an idea for a new fighter or want to tell us how a fight went, send us a message and we will read it.
Where the game came from
"First person boxing" is something many players search for after trying a boxing game on Roblox. Those games need the Roblox app and an account, so we set out to make a separate boxing game that opens in a normal browser tab. First Person Boxing is our own game: the fighters, the ring, the rules and the code were made for this site, and it is not affiliated with Roblox Corporation or any Roblox experience.
Why first person
Most boxing games show both fighters from the side. We put the camera in your own eyes because that is how boxing feels: you watch the other fighter's shoulders, see a punch start, and have a split second to slip, duck or cover up. Seeing it from behind your gloves makes timing the whole game, and it makes a clean counter feel earned.
What makes a fight work
- Every incoming punch has a readable wind-up. Slip straights, duck hooks, and block uppercuts and body shots.
- A clean slip or duck opens a short counter window, and a counter hits much harder than a normal punch.
- Stamina runs the fight. Throwing nonstop drains it fast, weakens your punches and lets the opponent cover up and punish you.
- Training teaches every move in about two minutes, Quick Fight lets you pick an opponent and difficulty, and Career is a ladder of five original fighters with a new fighting style for each win.
- Every punch shows whether it landed clean, was blocked or only grazed, so you can see why a fight went the way it did.

How it is made
The game is built with web technology and runs on your device's graphics in the browser, with no plugins. The fighters' bodies and hairstyles start from Quaternius' "Universal Base Characters", released under CC0 (public domain); we posed, dressed and colored them for this game. The music and sound effects are not recordings: they are synthesized live in your browser with the Web Audio API while you play. The site artwork was made for this site.
